Whats the easiest way (for me) to get someone suspended from

Post by tradeandsellalot » February 12th, 2006, 7:37 pm

I had someone click buy it now and didnt respond to any emails and has fake contact info. I have tried emailing ebay about it for the past week and they have yet to suspend him. I want to leave neg. feedback but I would like it if he were suspended first. If you know of a way let me know.

thanks

Go ahead and neg the jerk! Having false contact info is a valid reason to have any retaliatory negative feedback removed, IF he negs you back in retaliation..

Feedback left by a member who provided eBay with false contact information and could not be contacted. In general, the transaction period is considered to be 90 days from the end of the listing or 30 days from the date the feedback was left, whichever was longer. See Additional Information:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/fee ... rawal.html

Unfortunately eBay loves these deadbeats! But may NARU the member for invalid contact info if you report them here:

Be sure to neg the bum first!!

Good luck :)

Thanks doc.
I went ahead and left neg on him. Its too bad ebay has turned into what it has. I have been using ebay since 99 and never had a problem till the last year. I sold my car locally in one day. So I am not going to use ebay anymore unless I got something I just cant get rid of on the street. Ill just treat ebay as the trash market it is.

Sometimes i wonder if eBay has lost sight of the true sad state of reality their site is in?

They have grown so big, and do not have the staff to properly enforce the rules! Let 60 Minutes or some other major media do a hatchet job on them, It will wake them up real quick!

I dont only blame ebay but I also blame the people that come on the site and intentially destroy feedback and cost sellers and buyers lots of money. It will take something big to break ebay. But if ebay keeps going the way its going somethings gonna give. The idea is great sit at home and buy and sell. As for a seller like my self to be able to put something on ebay and not have to deal with many calls or many people wanting to take the car to a mechanic and still get roughly the same price is great. But when it takes a month to sell something because you have had 2 or 3 deadbeats and ebay doesnt want to reimburse you for the fees it is hard to go that route.

This is a direct quote from Meg, ( We know nothing about cars, we are only a venue )
To me that is very upsetting.
I personally know one employee at Ebay, that knows cars.
Why is he not running the show? Its all about bucks, bottom line.
Use the Shultz syndrome, I see nothing, I hear nothing, I know nothing.
That's ebay's policy in a nut shell.
Playing Dumb will work for a while.
One good lawyer looking for a reputation, will bring the glass house tumbling down.
Sorry for the rant, sometimes I just get so frustrated.
Do it right, or don't do it at all. Hmmmm, I must have went to the wrong school.

The lights are on, just no one home.
Be patient, and get-r-done

Good morning Doc.
This old grouch is already ranting this morning.
A few little simple changes is all it would take to fix Ebay.
I just can't see why they are so blind to this.
My question is, why would a company intentionaly want to bankrupt themselves?
One big problem I see is ebay employees selling on the site.
This absolutely should not be allowed. Reason?
They have access to too much personal information on potentional buyers.
This issue has been brought to their attention.
Sorta makes one wonder why some sellers have so many problems, yet others are left alone.
Ebay has what it takes, they just won't use it.
I am not bad mouthing the company, just their lack of common sense.
Common sense must have really passed away.

Goes back to the old saying, take care of your customers, they will take care of you.
Be patient, and get-r-done

Another old saying..

Piss your customers off and they will tell everyone they know and meet not to do business with you!

Tommy, I agree about employees selling their own stuff, they do have too much access to too much info. Then again, so much of the problem is that many of them know nothing about selling anything. Maybe they should actually have to operate the eBay store, that doesn't reside on ebay!, or something for part of their training. That way they would get some experience and knowledge.
