Happy Friday to you too, RS. How is Florida holding up?

Yesterday, was coing out of the grocery store and this girl around 21 is going into the store. She is a little chesty and has a shirt on that says "Made you look" and as I walked by her, I said "You sure did" and she just smiled back.

I woke up early, will go back to bed very shortly, too damn early!

Well, that would be me.

I've been watching the news and I'm hearing mixed information on hurricane, Francis. It's 260 miles of the Florida coast right now, is supposed to hit Florida tomorrow (36 hours). Is this hurricane supposed to be less, the same, or more powerful than hurricane Charlie?

It doesn't sound too good to be in Florida at the moment. All we have here in the desert of SE WA state, is 10 to 15 mph winds, with 30 to 40 mph gusts. We've had 100 plus mph winds in the past, which are nasty, but 150 plus mph winds with gallons of water being dumped with it, sounds really bad. Just can't imagine it.

You all take care.

Just about every gas station from Manatee county south on 41 is out of gas. People all fueling up and no fuel shippments today.

Usual run on plywood generators etc etc while people get ready. Best thing that has happened to florida is that after andrew they enacted hurricane codes that oddly didnt go into force until about october of last year where every home not only has to be able to withstand sustained winds of 70+ but they all have to come with hurricane shutters.

its good to know that they are finaly taking mother nature seriously. now if they jsut would start putting the utilities under ground.
